When my fiance and I set the date for our wedding, I started planning and shopping for all my accessories and wedding supplies, right away. I’m a dedicated online shopper and so, of course, that’s the first place I went to find what I needed. There were accessories and reception supplies that would help me to plan the most fantastic wedding and reception party ever, all on my computer. Starting with the beautiful invitations I chose, and finishing with the super wedding favors for our friends and family.
To start with we decided that we wanted to have a theme wedding and we agreed to make it a beach themed wedding and reception. We’ve always lived near the water, even as kids and it has been a favorite place of ours and our friends for years.
First things first, I chose the invitation for our guests and got them in the mail as quickly as possible and luckily I got answered just as quickly with an astounding yes to our invite. So now it was time to start shopping for my bridal accessories and other wedding needs. They really had a lot of accessories to choose from that fit right in with the bridal fashion of todays modern bride. The bridal hair accessories were really something special and I chose a lovely tiara to go with my veil. There was also some exquisite wedding jewelry to choose from that went so nicely with the dress I had chosen. I’ll tell you what I really like shopping online, it’s so convenient and easy. I’ve been doing this for a long time for so many products I shop for. But even I was surprised at all they had to offer.
There were a lot of wedding accessories that were so beautiful and most of the items were reasonable in price. I ordered some things for our honeymoon too. Even though we were getting married on the beach, I insisted on a floor length wedding dress. My bridesmaids wore a light weight satin dress for my wedding and so did my little flower girl. They were all so elegant, they could have been on the cover of a bridal magazine.
There were torches around the reception area and the dance floor was lit up with little white lights we had strung around. I had sailboat place card holders and placed seashells and starfish all around the tables. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. Everyone seemed to like the gifts they received.
Our wedding table was beautifully set with beach themed champagne flutes, little beach tealights and lovely beach themed candles and holders. Everything at our wedding reception came with a beach theme décor, including our fantastic wedding cake topper. Our topper was a bride and groom taking a walk along the beach. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. We danced, ate tons of seafood, like shrimp, crab, lobster and of course we had other foods for those that didn’t like seafood. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. It was a little sad when we had to leave for our honeymoon and everyone was still partying it up.
The first thing I had to do when we came home from our honeymoon was get out my wedding guest book I bought online and make out all the thank you notes for the people that shared our wedding day with us. That was a day I’ll always remember and I’ll have lots of photos in my beach wedding album to look at and relive again and again.
