Not way back I was invited to a wedding of a co-worker. It was fully gorgeous and the bride was as well. But the bash was also a sight to behold. Everywhere you looked there were lovely décor and therefore the tables sparkled with crystal and silver.

I recently visited a wedding and reception for one of the girls I work with. The wedding was beyond belief and the bride could not have appeared more magnificent. This was the foremost memorable marriage ceremony I’ve ever attended. You would have thought that Cinderella and Prince Charming were actually those being wed. Minus the wicked stepmother and horrid stepsisters of course. The bride even wore glass slippers along with her beautiful ball gown wedding dress. They did a nice job decorating the cathedral for the ceremony. The candles and red and white roses really added to the stunning storybook décor in the church. There was a deep red aisle runner and white tulle that they had draped from row to row in the pews. Any actual princess would have been thrilled with the wedding ceremony they had planned. Guests threw pink and white rose petals as the couple left the place of worship. I could not believe they really had a horse drawn coach to make their manner to the reception. It was the most exquisite departure I’ve ever witnessed. They also did a fantastic job on decorating the reception hall. Everywhere you appeared there were exquisite décor and the tables sparkled with crystal and silver.

Their centerpieces were quite unique as well. They were bowls created of glass with 3 floating candles and had hydrangeas surrounding it. Everything there was outstanding. The Perfect Wedding Photo Album!

I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. I started with our beach themed wedding invitations. Since I had a couple of invitations I had to do over again, I was really glad I bought extra. After I got the invitations out of the way, my next step was finding the right dress for a beach wedding. With all the selections of beautiful beach dresses and wedding gowns, I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to wear. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.

My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.

I wish now,with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two wedding albums, instead of only one. I want pictures of everything and everyone at our wedding, all the gorgeous decorations, and our lovely reception. Pictures of our satin canopy and flowered arch where we stood to take our vows was a definite must. Directly after the ceremony we left to change into more suitable beach wear for the reception party. In fact a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen also left to change, while others just wore swim suits under their wedding attire. We told all of our guests to dress casually.

Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. The place I shopped not only had the beach wedding album I wanted, but so many more accessories to go with it. I found the cutest little beach chairs as place card holders that they can use for their favorite little photo later. I think our friends and family thought they were cute, I know I did. I’m in love with these new wedding invitations!

Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.

An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Now there are so many different types of weddings you can really have your ceremony exactly the way you want to. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

Choosing a summer wedding invitation!

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. When you plan to be married in the great outdoors, it seems you have to have a backup plan just in case the weather turns from sunny to pouring buckets. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the beautiful background of the park as our main décor, all I really needed besides table settings were a few extra flowers here and there. I thought artificial flowers would be best, since we didn’t want a bee invasion ruining our ceremony. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Even though some summer wedding favors are fantastic, the heat can totally destroy your gorgeous wedding cake.

As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer wedding invitation. One of the most decorative things on our wedding table was our gorgeous wedding cake with the beautiful cake topper I ordered.

While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. How could I ask for a better wedding keepsake than that? Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I decided to go with the last, but not least of the wedding theme ideas, and have a fairy tale ceremony and reception. There were so many accessories and reception supplies to help with my fantasty wedding. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So I finally made up my mind. We can declare a royal wedding.
I went online and found fairy tale invitations that I could send out. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed wedding favor in for our guests. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception.
