I can’t believe how many unique wedding ideas there are out there. There is a lot to choose from in wedding supplies when you are planning your special day. If I only knew about all the possibilities on the internet when I did my planning for my wedding. There are so many themed weddings that are possible to have today, with all kinds of great accessories to make it perfect. I’m in love with these new wedding invitations!

Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.

An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

Choosing a summer wedding invitation!

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. When you plan to be married in the great outdoors, it seems you have to have a backup plan just in case the weather turns from sunny to pouring buckets. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the beautiful background of the park as our main décor, all I really needed besides table settings were a few extra flowers here and there. I thought artificial flowers would be best, since we didn’t want a bee invasion ruining our ceremony. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Even though some summer wedding favors are fantastic, the heat can totally destroy your gorgeous wedding cake.

As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer wedding invitation. One of the most decorative things on our wedding table was our gorgeous wedding cake with the beautiful cake topper I ordered.

While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. How could I ask for a better wedding keepsake than that? Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

Outstanding Engagement Party Invitations

The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. Goal number one was finding a birthday party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. The site also had standard party invitations, birthday party invitations, and many other types of invitations.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. Some of the other odds and ends I used for door prizes were adorable little bath soaps, make-up mirrors, and novelty keychains.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. It’s comical to watch that game unfold, and it’s a good way to see just how smart your friends are. We had a hoot playing bridal bingo and some other activities, too. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. The things I purchased were well made, and I spent a lot whole less than I thought I would have to, and had a whole lot more choices. Since the website also sold wedding invitations and favors, I let my friend who was about to get married know about it, since I was sure she could use a wide selection to pick from. So, maybe ordering her accessories and reception supplies from here will help her out in the planning and the finances. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. Naturally, I bought the cards for thank yous over the Intenet as well. Next, I’m helping with my friends sons’ birthday party with the help of my favorite online store.

But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. I would love a tropical island wedding. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I decided to go with the last, but not least of the wedding theme ideas, and have a fairy tale ceremony and reception. There were so many accessories and reception supplies to help with my fantasty wedding. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So I finally made up my mind. We can declare a royal wedding.

I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed wedding favor in for our guests. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I have to admit, it was quite special. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed favors for wedding too. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
