A theme wedding is my favorite. They can really be a blast. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. It was a country western themed ceremony.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They were a picure perfect couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
She did a fantastic job arranging her reception. It was spectacular. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed wedding favors. Around the reception tables it was lit up with lanterns and white christmas lights everywhere. There were bales of hay stacked here and there with corn stalks on the barn doors. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. Everyone was having the time of their lives.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. It was the perfect themed cake topper. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. I thought that was very creative.
The food they chose for the reception was unbelievable. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, mostly for the kids, and steaks, ribs, and chicken for the adults, with choice of salads and vegetables. There was plenty of great food to choose from. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. It was a great country western themed reception.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. The warm breeze and the sound of the waves simply adds to the ambiance of the ceremony. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Their reception was more than elegant too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding cakes that worked perfectly. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.

Themed Weddings!
I really like a theme wedding. They can really be a blast. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. The ceremony and reception was done in country western.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. The church was beautifully decorated with satin ribbon and bows, flowers and candles. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The tuxes with the white boutonnieres in the lapels made the groomsmen and the little ring boy looked quite handsome. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They were a picure perfect couple. After the ceremony the bride and groom left the church in a horse drawn buggy.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.

My husband and I did a little dancing while some played horse shoes or gave apple bobbing a try. Everyone was having the time of their lives.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. It was the perfect themed cake topper. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. That was such a unique idea.
There was plenty of delicious foods for everyone at the party. Finding the right summer wedding ideas!
It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. In fact, it didn’t cost as much as an indoor wedding would have cost us. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I found several perfect parks that would work fine for our wedding day.
Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.
We had canopies arranged for our reception and barring bad weather, planned to be wed under a lovely trellis. The only real decorations I needed were those for my wedding table and the guests reception tables. With the beautiful background of the park as our main décor, all I really needed besides table settings were a few extra flowers here and there. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful,they looked like the real deal. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. There are some spectacular summer wedding themes, but the sun can turn your beautiful wedding cake into a gooey pool of confection.
As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding theme. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.
While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.
Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. The DJ we hired was really exceptional and I’m sure that the music played on long after my new husband and I left for our honeymoon. A lot of good things were said about our wedding ceremony and everyone said they had a fantastic time at the reception. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.
Choosing the Right the wedding album!
I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. There were so many options for beach wedding dresses and gowns, that it was a tough decision to make. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.
Linen beach dresses with a crocheted halter covering was what I chose for my bridesmaids. My handsome groom wore a sky blue linen shirt and white linen pants and his groomsmen wore white linen shirts with sand colored linen pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.
With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two wedding albums. I want pictures of everything and everyone at our wedding, all the gorgeous decorations, and our lovely reception. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. Directly after the ceremony we left to change into more suitable beach wear for the reception party. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. I wrote on all the invitations to dress in casual clothing for this wedding.
Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. The place I shopped not only had the beach wedding album I wanted, but so many more accessories to go with it. I found the cutest little beach chairs as place card holders that they can use for their favorite little photo later. I really liked them and I’m sure our guests did too. I also found the perfect beach wedding favors for our friends and family. I chose adorable tea lights that looked just like sand castles to remind them of our beach party. I found everything we needed, as far as accessories and decorations, for our wedding table and our guests reception tables. They had the perfect crystal stemware, serving set for the wedding cake, wine glasses and a gorgeous beach themed cake topper.
A lot of our friends and family made comments about out lovely reception décor. I added some tiki torches everywhere and put gel candles on all of our guests wedding reception tables to help add a touch of atmosphere to everything. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.

If I only knew about all the possibilities on the internet when I did my planning for my wedding. Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. Outstanding Engagement Party Invitations
The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. Goal number one was finding a birthday party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. The site also had standard party invitations, birthday party invitations, and many other types of invitations.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. Some of the other odds and ends I used for door prizes were adorable little bath soaps, make-up mirrors, and novelty keychains.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag.
